The sculpture LTOGF by Timothy P. Schmalz. stands as a dedicated homage to trafficking victims and the courageous women tirelessly fighting to liberate those trapped in modern-day slavery, showcasing nearly 100 representations of human trafficking victims, exposing the overwhelming extent of this grave issue, and raising awareness of the human trafficking victims that still exist in our world today. In Canada alone, statistics report that 96% of victims of human trafficking are women and girls, only 65% of incidents were reported to the police between 2010-2020, and 91% of victims of police reported incidents knew their attackers. This alarming fact is what has led the non-profit organization, The Rudolph P. Bratty Family Foundation, to take action in order to raise awareness. The magnificent 3 ton, bronze sculpture will be unveiled by Artist Timothy Schmalz on Thursday, October 5th at 11:00am outside Regis College, Toronto. Join the unveiling of this monumental piece in support of a wonderful cause.
