Tech Class for Seniors: Sourcing Credible Health Information Online

Are you 55+ looking for support with technology? Come meet new friends in the Stay Connected Program! We offer group in person at 123 La Rose Avenue or virtually via Zoom. —— Tuesday May 7 | 1pm – 2:30pm | 123 La Rose Ave & Zoom “Sourcing Credible Health Information Online” Interactive Group Workshop FREE Practice your “Googling” by learning about how to identify trustworthy sources of health information amidst the abundance of content available on the internet. Refresh your understanding of how “search engines” like Google work while exploring how to make more informed judgments about the accuracy & reliability of the information you find. This will be a 90 minute interactive workshop where we will learn some new information, then practice with support on our own devices. You will have time throughout to ask questions. Our dedicated TECH team will also be available for you after the workshop for support from 2:30-3pm — Join us weekly on Tuesdays at 1pm for our skill-building classes.
