Keep the Beat 2024

My Community Homework Club is pleased to announce that we are once again organizing our Keep the Beat event to our community. We are very excited to be celebrating 22 years! Our event will be held on Friday June 7th, 2024 from 6-8:30 pm at Northwood Community Centre located at 15 Clubhouse Court (Jane and Sheppard area). Special visit from our local firefighters with the fire truck from 5 to 6 pm.

My Community Homework Club (MyCHC), is an after school program which, with the help of our volunteers from the community, has assisted over 500 students in the last 22 years! The program is set up in such a manner, as to enable high school to be partnered up with grade school students and in turn, act as tutors/mentors and are able to obtain their community volunteer hours. Students can get help with Math, English, Language Arts, etc. in an informal setting, as well as engage in extra-curricular activities, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and so much more! Kidsarefree!
