YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange – Virtual Info Session

Are you 16 or 17 this summer? Interested in travelling, working, and improving your French or English? Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about the YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange (SWSE)—a unique national program that gives youth the chance to gain paid work experience in another province while building leadership skills and lifelong friendships. The program runs from June 28 to August 9, 2025 and costs just $200, covering travel, accommodation, and activities. Youth also earn money through their job placements. Local businesses can also get involved through our employer partnership program, which subsidizes wages and provides meaningful work experiences for youth.
