The Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra hosts Corey Butler’s Hymns to Freedom project. Explore the story of racial injustice throughout history in a concert that paints contrasting musical pictures: Discord, tension and division, juxtaposed with respect, reconciliation and unity.
You will hear such rousing music as Swing Low Sweet Chariot, Glory Glory Hallelujah, Amazing Grace and many other inspiring pieces, performed by well known actor and one of Canada’s foremost gospel, blues and jazz singers, Jackie Richardson.
Come and be educated by the story, entertained by the music and inspired to live in harmony.
