The annual Summer Peach Fest at the Annette Farmers Market brought a sweet taste of the season to the neighbourhood on Wednesday, August 19th. Shoppers enjoyed baskets of fresh, locally grown peaches while browsing an outstanding selection of farm-fresh produce, baked goods, artisan treats and handcrafted products. Live music, a welcoming community atmosphere and plenty of smiling faces made it another memorable summer afternoon, celebrating local farmers, vendors and everything that makes market days so special.
