September 12 @ 2:00 pm 3:30 pm

Learn basic search techniques to find your ancestor?s records using the popular genealogy database Ancestry Library Edition. Over the course of this series you will learn the basics of family trees, search Ancestry for birth, marriage, death, military, immigration, and census records, and experiment with wildcards to improve your searches. Each session you will use what you learned to explore your own genealogy with staff available for support. This is an in-person program, no registration required. If you identify as a person with a disability or as a person who is Deaf, and require an accessibility accommodation to participate in this program, please contact Accessibility Services by email, accessibleservices@tpl.ca, or voicemail, 416-393-7099, to make a request.
