Android Phone & Tablet – Tech Workshop for 55+

Are you 55+ looking for support with technology? Come meet new friends in the Stay Connected Program! We offer group in person at 123 La Rose Avenue or virtually via Zoom.

In this workshop we will practice customizing your Android Device (Samsung, Google, Huawei) with the accessibility settings that you need to use it effectively as well as learn about the “cloud storage” available to you automatically through the purchase of your device. We will also learn about basic security measures you can put in place for yourself on your device (like blocking phone numbers and two-factor identification) as well as online (like managing cookies and making good passwords).

In this 2 hour interactive workshop, you will learn a new skill or two and then immediately have time to practice it yourself on your own device (we have tablets to borrow if you need).
