Annual Simcoe Walk along the lower Humber (Carrying Place Trail)

Join us For a Hike up the Humber and Learn about our Early History The Swansea Historical Society and Heritage York’s Annual Simcoe Walk along the lower Carrying Place Trail Saturday, September 26th @ 9:30. Meet at the Rousseaux Site just south of the Petro Canada Station on South Kingsway. (43.635982 – 79.474809) The walk is divided into 2 parts. In the morning, we will walk primarily along Riverside Drive learning about this early trade route. Following a lunch break, the hike will resume at 1 PM from Jane & Bloor (Alex Ling Fountain on NW corner) and proceed north.
