Art Night – Clay Modelling Workshop

Arts Etobicoke’s Monthly Art Nights are a great way to try a new hobby or go on a creative date with your friends and family!
Art Nights are held monthly on a Thursday evening and feature guided arts instruction by a professional artist. All supplies and refreshments are provided.

July Art Night: This creative workshop is designed to teach participants how to sculpt a clay head using an armature and a variety of clay sculpting techniques. They will create a framework on a wooden base with pieces of paper to create a support for the clay structure. They will add clay to form the basic shape of the head and then form the features using modelling tools and various techniques such as rolling, pulling, pinching and carving. No prior experience necessary.
