Canine Blood Donor Clinic with the Canadian Animal Blood Bank

The Canadian Animal Blood Bank is hosting a canine blood donor clinic at Roncesvalles Animal Hospital on Saturday February 21 from 9am – 1pm. The Canadian Animal Blood Bank (CABB) donor clinic is a non-profit, volunteer-driven service collecting blood from healthy dogs (1–8 years old, >25kg) to create life-saving canine blood products. Held at local vet clinics, the 30-minute appointment involves a, quick, safe, 450g blood collection from the jugular vein while the dog is lying down.
