Cold by Drew Hayden Taylor – By the Lake Book Club

Join Drew Hayden Taylor for a conversation about his book. Mystery, thriller and horror, with a big dose of humour, are all rolled into Cold, a novel that begins with two women stranded after a plane crash. An adulterous professor, an Indigenous Hockey League player and a homicide detective are amongst the cast of characters, who all come together under one terrifying realization.

By the Lake Book Club offers six Tuesday-night events, between February and December featuring leading Canadian authors in conversation with Humber College graduates and alumni. Each in-person event includes a reading, discussion, audience Q&A, book-signing and American sign language interpretation. Virtual events are subtitled live and provide online viewing and audio.
