Want to learn how to grow/plant your own microgreens and sprouts at home? Join Conny and learn about the difference between the two, the nutritional benefits and other interesting facts about planting indoors.
Each participant will be provided with a small seeding tray (fitting on a windowsill), seeds for suitable microgreens, and substrate, and then would be guided through the set up and seeding. Kits will only be available for participants participating in person at a cost of $25.
Afya HortTherapy started doing Therapeutic Horticulture and Horticultural Therapy in 2010…and have been doing it ever since! We believe that bringing plants and people together, both can grow! We have so much to learn from gardening, plants and the natural world.
The program is offered to older adults 55+ and is offered in-person or online via zoom. Funding for this program provided by the Seniors Community Grant from the Province of Ontario.
