A Microboard is a small group of family and friends who join with a person who has a disability to create a non-profit organization. A Microboard is focused on the person’s self-determination, empowerment, and it supports planning using a person-directed approach.
Join this virtual session led by PooranLaw to receive an overview of how Microboards can be created to support you and your loved one with a disability. This lawyer-led session will provide information on the benefits, how they work, and the legal framework required to start and sustain your Microboard.
This is a free virtual workshop focused on providing educational supports to caregivers of persons with disabilities.
