A dynamic evening of classical, popular, jazzy, and traditional Ukrainian music! Enjoy a wide range of musical styles and instruments, including the captivating sounds of Ukraine’s national instrument – the bandura.
The objective of the concert is to raise funds for new arrivals from Ukraine, among them children and seniors, who have been displaced by the ongoing war. Proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainian Canadian Social Services in Toronto for the most urgent of needs such as lodgings, transportation, food/clothing, medical needs not covered by OHIP, language classes, kids’ activities, and others. Many are here on their own, and the UCSS serves as an important resource centre for facilitating with basic necessities for life in a new country.
