Assembly Hall, City of Toronto and TOES FOR DANCE are piloting our brand-new Process+Practice Dance Residency Program this year and are seeking two artists/projects to be a part of the 2024 to 2025 cohort. This dance residency program supports local dance artists in the research, creation and presentation of new works. This opportunity primarily offers in-kind use of the Performance Hall at Assembly Hall for artistic practice and creative process to develop new choreographic work. Selected artists will also engage in artistic exchange discussions, open rehearsals, community workshops and public performances (with presentation support from TOES FOR DANCE – pending grant results.)
Join us at Assembly Hall on August 13 from 2:45-4 p.m. for our Residency Information Session. Participation is available both in-person and online.
