Roselands P.S. was opened in 1922 and is celebrating its 100th Anniversary on Saturday May 6th 2023. The school will be welcoming former staff, alumni and guests from 12:00 to 5:00. Historically, the school is located at the Roselands Plateau, at Jane & Lambton, overlooking the Eglinton Flats on the north and the Humber River on its west side. Also nearby, was the Toronto Carrying Place-portage from the Lake Ontario to Lake Simcoe and further north to the other lakes. An Indigenous Campsite site located on the schools playground and the Frimette Indigenous Village site was located below on its west side.
