Masterpieces of art have always been coveted by criminals – for revenge, sale on the black market, or personal decoration. Some artworks became famous precisely because of their thefts and are now displayed in museums. Yet others remain missing even after decades of searches. This time, we’ll tell the story of the stolen masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci — The Mona Lisa.
