80 years ago on May 5th, Canadian soldiers liberated Holland. 7000 died in the battles, and are buried there, 60 young men from Ta’ai’a’kon-Parkdale-High Park neighbourhoods among them. Yes, it’s true, 60 !
Bloor Collegiate students, with teacher Katy Whitfield, will infuse their lives with fresh meaning, showing us who they are, their photos, what high schools they went to, in an installation at the Peace Garden.
Join us, as peace tulips are coming into bloom at the Peace Garden.
