Weight & Your Health w/Maria Ricupero

As metabolism slows with age, maintaining or losing weight becomes more challenging. While there is pressure to be at a “healthy weight,” older adults who lose weight may be putting themselves at risk. This presentation will state the facts about weight science and the evidence that shows how improvements to health can be obtained regardless of shape size or weight. 1. Recognize the harm associated with ‘dieting’ and restrictive eating. 2. Identify the science that demonstrates how better health is possible even in the absence of weight loss. 3. Learn about a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to better health and quality of life.
