Hosted by the Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area (BY BIA)\, the five-day activation will take the public on a festive floral tour of Bloor-Yorkville\, with a distinctive holiday feel that features the works of top local florists. \nBack by popular demand\, Fleurs de Villes NOËL builds on the wonderful history in the neighbourhood with the Spring trails\, most recently with Fleurs de Villes FEMMES that took place in May of this year. Fleurs de Villes NOËL is a free public event. Visitors will be able to walk the self-guided trail of discovery with over 30 floral installations\, including the Fleurs de Ville famous floral mannequins\, floral refreshments and dining experiences\, attend floral workshops in the JARDIN content atelier at the Manulife Centre\, and shop for blooms from local florists at the pop-up flower markets. A fresh flower market will also open at multiple locations throughout the neighbourhood on Saturday\, December 10th.

DESCRIPTION:A dynamic evening of classical\, popular\, jazzy\, and traditional Ukrainian music! Enjoy a wide range of musical styles and instruments\, including the captivating sounds of Ukraine’s national instrument – the bandura. \nThe objective of the concert is to raise funds for new arrivals from Ukraine\, among them children and seniors\, who have been displaced by the ongoing war. Proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainian Canadian Social Services in Toronto for the most urgent of needs such as lodgings\, transportation\, food/clothing\, medical needs not covered by OHIP\, language classes\, kids’ activities\, and others. The concert will be performed at Humber Valley United Church in Etobicoke.    Sing We Joyfully showcases a masterpiece of the choral repertoire\, J.S. Bach’s stunning Magnificat. The delightful Brother Heinrich’s Christmas by John Rutter and a selection of beautiful carols will complete this joyous celebration of the season.  Henry Renglich\, conductor.  Carl Steinhauser\, organ and piano.  Soloists:   Érika Wood\, soprano\, Mélissa Danis\, mezzo-soprano\, Lauren Halasz\, alto\, Ryan Downey\, tenor\, David Finneran\, baritone.
