DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to continue our REIKI LEVEL 1 & ACCESS BARS CONSCIOUSNESS Certification Workshops that are all in person and in clinic.\n\nWhat is Reiki?\nReiki is a form of energy healing that is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low\, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress\, and if it is high\, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki is holistic; it works on the body mind and spirit by stimulating a person’s own natural healing abilities. The blocked emotional and physical elements that lead to illness and disease can be cleared. Reiki is neither positive nor negative; it is in fact the highest and most profound vibration of life. Divine in origin\, it allows us all to become one with all things alive in our world. Reiki is pure unconditional love and joy bringing all who experience and embrace it principles together in harmony.\n\nThe REIKI Workshop is a hands on 2 day certification course facilitated by our Reiki Master\, Beatriz Marin. Each participant is given a manual and at the end a certification in Level 1 Reiki.\n\nDates: Feb 4-5th (9am-3pm both days)\nMarch 4-5th (9am-3pm both days)\n\nWhat is Access Bars?\nAccess Consciousness also known as Access Bars™ is a non-invasive modality that involves a practitioner gently touching the 32 points on the head that all correspond to different aspects of life. The points\, also known as bars™\, contain different kinds of emotions\, thoughts\, ideas and beliefs that you have retained and kept from your lifetimes but will release limitations that surround different components of life such as money\, ageing\, sexuality\, body image\, time\, communication\, healing\, depression\, relationships\, health and sleep and can help with emotions such as joy\, peace\, sadness and kindness.\n\nThe Access Bars certification workshop is a 1 day course and is hands on and facilitated by our Access Bars practitioners and facilitators. The course includes a training manual & 2 head charts along with a certification as a Access Bars practitioner.\n\nDates: Feb 18 (10am-6pm)\nMarch 18 (10am-6pm)

SUMMARY:Free Barre Fitness Classes for Older Adults
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by a combination of ballet barre technique\, standing Pilates repertoire\, rehabilitative exercises\, and aerobics\, this low impact workout will get you dancing along to the beat of classic songs. We will use a chair as a “barre” to add stability and support to our workout\, while engaging in movements focused on targeting specific muscle groups\, training our balance\, and improving our posture. The class will slowly build up from warm ups to more complex sequences to a nice cool down\, helping you work not just your physical and cardiovascular endurance\, but also keep your memory sharp. And hey\, you can even play “Name That Tune” or sing along when your body needs a break! \n\n\n\nClasses run every Tuesday at 10am – 11 am in-person and virtually. \n\n\n\nThe program is offered to older adults 55+ and is offered in-person or online via zoom.
