DESCRIPTION:Explore the historical traces of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital and its associated cemetery\, now everyday spaces in Etobicoke Lakeshore. \n\n\n\nThrough renovations and retrofitting\, the physical site is one of the most enduring markers of memory to those who lived and laboured on this site and spent months\, years or decades in this institution. Featuring the artwork of photographers Sherry Prenevost\, Emily Briden\, and Amber Briden whom we thank for their work and for capturing the rich details of these historic spaces. \n\n\n\nWitnesses of the Past will open on January 8\, 2024\, in the Third Floor Gallery of the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre.

Through the power of Aveda salons\, spas\, stores\, institutes\, guests\, and supporters\, Aveda Earth Month strives to help those in need of clean water\, decent toilets\, and basic hygiene. Since 2006\, Aveda Canada’s partnership with WaterAid Canada has raised more than $5 million\, reaching over 180\,000 people with access to clean water. This year\, join Aveda Canada as they once again celebrate Aveda Earth Month\, a month dedicated to helping end the world water crisis.
