DESCRIPTION:Assembly Hall Gallery is now accepting applications for 2025 exhibitions until June 15. We are a City-operated cultural centre located in the beautiful Colonel Samuel Smith Park that hosts over 50\,000 visitors annually. We offer subsidized rental rates for exhibitions and no commission is charged on art sales. All submissions are reviewed by our Gallery Working Group who also arrange and install each exhibition. Applications are accepted from individual artists\, collectives\, art organizations or informal art groups. DESCRIPTION:We invite you to a charity concert in support of wounded Ukrainian soldiers\, which will take place in Toronto on May 24 for the “Guardian Angels of Ukraine” Fund.\n\nOksana Mukha is a Ukrainian singer\, Honored Artist of Ukraine\, winner of the Grand Prix of the first international contest named after Kvitka Tsysyk\, and winner of the Voice of the Country 2019 project. Her repertoire includes works of various formats: from ancient Ukrainian folk songs to modern original and experimental music. With her voice\, the song touches people’s hearts and unites them. With her work\, Oksana preserves Ukrainian culture and opens Ukraine to the world.\n\nThe Guardian Angels of Ukraine Fund is a humanitarian initiative founded by the League of Ukrainian Canadian Women. The fund’s mission is to support the treatment\, rehabilitation and social integration of wounded Ukrainian soldiers and victims of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
