DESCRIPTION:Assembly Hall Gallery is now accepting applications for 2025 exhibitions until June 15. We are a City-operated cultural centre located in the beautiful Colonel Samuel Smith Park that hosts over 50\,000 visitors annually. We offer subsidized rental rates for exhibitions and no commission is charged on art sales. All submissions are reviewed by our Gallery Working Group who also arrange and install each exhibition. Applications are accepted from individual artists\, collectives\, art organizations or informal art groups. DESCRIPTION:Our Youth Dance and Safety event gets youth who live in under-resourced areas with high gun violence rates to move more and feel safe as they walk around their neighborhoods and take the TTC.  \nSessions include fun dance energizers to help the youth warm up and an easy-to-follow street self-defense session filled with pair and group activities.  Our sessions are always beginner-friendly and adapted to meet the group’s needs.
