The program is offered to older adults 55+ and is held in person at 123 La Rose Avenue\, or virtually via Zoom. Learn More: www.stdemetrius.ca/community-programs \n—\nJoin Denise Ho for her STRETCH & STRENGTH class for beginners every Wednesday & Friday at 10am! This class offers movement combinations that target all your major muscle groups. All of the exercises are done seated\, using dumbbell weights and resistance bands. Each class begins with a gentle warm-up\, moving into exercises that train and strengthen your body. We end the class with a series of mindful stretches to maintain and increase flexibility and range of motion.\n—\nTo register for classes or for more information please call 647-725-0877 or community@stdemetrius.ca. I’ve always done this for fun. Why? Because I love seeing people get up there and challenge themselves and express themselves and have fun. That’s everything to me. It’s why I do it. The moment I forget why I’ll stop. I remember being terrified to try karaoke as a teenager and trying to work through the fear.  I love the regulars and I love encouraging them.
