DESCRIPTION:Since 2020\, the Bloor West Food Bank has been working together with local businesses and organizations to combat food insecurity in our community. This May\, we are excited to launch our CARE & SHARE donation campaign—and we’d love for your business to be a part of it!\n\nMay is Hunger Awareness Month\, with Hunger Awareness Week from May 7-11 and World Hunger Day on May 28. Unfortunately\, food insecurity affects many of our neighbours\, but together\, we can make a difference.\n\nHere’s how you can help….Support local businesses and help fight hunger—look for posters\, scan the QR code\, and donate.\n\nAll donations will permit the Bloor West Food Bank to continue to provide a secure source of food for those in our community who require it.

The program is offered to older adults 55+ and is held in person at 123 La Rose Avenue\, or virtually via Zoom. Learn More: www.stdemetrius.ca/community-programs \n— \nJoin Kassandra for this fun and accessible FITNESS class every Tuesday at 10am!\nThis low-impact cardiovascular fitness class is inspired by rehabilitative exercises\, aerobics\, Pilates\, and a little bit of ballet barre technique – all getting you to dance along to the beat of classic songs! Start with warming up your joints\, then build up your physical and cardiovascular endurance (standing with the support of your chair\, or seated).
