SUMMARY:Music in the Afternoon: the Marmen Quartet
DESCRIPTION:The Marmen Quartet will perform Haydn’s “Joke” Quartet\, Bartok no. 3\, Debussy op. 10\, and a new work by brilliant young New Zealand composer Selina Fisher.  This is a long-awaited recital: after winning the Banff String Quartet Competition in 2019 the usual appearance of the winners for Music in the Afternoon in the following season was wiped out by the pandemic.  Their availability and ours have finally coincided.
