SUMMARY:Killer B Cinema Presents: The Curse of the Living Corpse
DESCRIPTION:Join us on November 7th to see Roy Schieder at his finest. You thought it was when he was hunting a shark. Oh no\, it’s when he is running from a living corpse!\n\nAdvanced tickets are $5 or $8 at the door (Space is limited\, and tickets sell out fast)!\n\nTicket link: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1770189086209?aff=oddtdtcreator\n\nDoors open at 7:30 pm\, and the movie begins at 8:00.\n\n*NO outside food or drinks; please buy food and drinks from the venue.\n\n*All films have closed captioning.\n\nMovie info:\nCurse of the Living Corpse (1964) is a low-budget American Gothic horror film directed by Del Tenney. It mixes period-piece melodrama with supernatural slasher elements.\n\nSet in New England in 1892\, The Curse of the Living Corpse begins after the death of wealthy\, tyrannical Rufus Sinclair. In his will\, he leaves strict instructions for his family to follow concerning his burial—he has a pathological fear of being buried alive. The conditions include leaving his body unembalmed for a year\, guarding his tomb\, and ensuring that he is interred with certain personal effects.\nWhen his family members ignore or resist these unsettling demands\, they begin dying one by one under mysterious and gruesome circumstances. Each death seems to correspond directly to the punishments Rufus had threatened in his will. The surviving relatives are left to wonder: has Rufus returned from the grave to carry out his revenge\, or is someone among them using the legend of his curse as cover for murder?\n\nInfo about See-Scape:\nOur movies will be shown on the second floor! There are two bars available in See-Scape. The bar is open on the second floor during our event and is cash only. Debit/Credit purchases are available on the main floor. See-Scape also has an amazing menu. To learn more about See-Scape\, please click here!\n\nhttps://www.seescapeto.com/\n\nSee-Scape is located at 347 Keele Street (the closest intersection is Keele/Dundas) and is easily accessible via TTC. (from Keele Station or Dundas West Station)\n\nParking: There is a Green P parking lot beside See-Scape and a few other paid parking lots nearby.\n\nEach month\, join Lizzie Violet & Zoltan Du Lac for killer B-moves from the 1930s to the present!\n\nPlease like our Facebook page and Instagram @killerbcinema so you don’t miss an invite.\n\nThank you to See-Scape and their staff! They make our monthly event extra unforgettable!\n\nWe hope to see you at See-Scape.
