Some prior choral experience and ability to read music is highly desirable. Etobicoke Centennial Choir is a welcoming\, inclusive community-based concert choir. ECC provides amateur singers with a high-calibre\, challenging and supportive choral music experience\, facilitated by a professional music director\, collaborative pianist and vocal section leads. Choristers improve their vocal skills and musical knowledge\, and learn repertoire in wide variety of musical styles over a three-concert season. ECC seeks community partnerships and donations to help support administrative and concert costs and enhance the artistic quality of its performances.

He has been a champion of ending contracting out of public services\, a living wage in Toronto\, and fair working conditions for Toronto employees. Gord is the current chair of the Toronto-East York Community Council and the Toronto Drug Strategy. He sits as a member of the Board of Health\, Planning and Housing Committee\, and the Library Board. Prior to becoming a Councillor\, Gord worked in the environmental movement from 1987 to 2005 with Pollution Probe\, Greenpeace Canada\, the Better Transportation Coalition\, and the Toronto Environmental Alliance.  \nDebbie King is a community organizer\, communications professional\, and public education champion who is ready to fight for Parkdale—High Park on the Toronto District School Board. As a parent\, she knows how important good schools are\, and how important it is that the TDSB leads on providing world-class education. She is the former co-chair of the Dr. Rita Cox – Kina Minogok PS (formerly Queen Victoria PS) Parent Council\, and is one of the founding members and co-chairs of the Black Student Success Committee. She is running to be the next TDSB Trustee for Ward 7\, Parkdale—High Park.

DESCRIPTION:The 19th Annual Silver Creek Fall Classic is a charity golf tournament that raises money for Silver Creek Pre-School. Silver Creek is a not-for-profit pre-school that serves children in the GTA with and without special needs. The fundraising from the Fall Classic will go towards Silver Creek’s general costs\, including but not limited to therapy services (Physiotherapy\, Occupational Therapy\, Music Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy)\, transportation costs for families on subsidy and medical equipment.  \nJoin us for a day of fun and support an amazing local cause!
