DESCRIPTION:Our Youth Dance and Safety event gets youth who live in under-resourced areas with high gun violence rates to move more and feel safe as they walk around their neighborhoods and take the TTC.  \nSessions include fun dance energizers to help the youth warm up and an easy-to-follow street self-defense session filled with pair and group activities.  Our sessions are always beginner-friendly and adapted to meet the group’s needs. DESCRIPTION:The Black Hole Experience (BHX)\, conceived by Age of Union founder Dax Dasilva and designed by multidisciplinary artist Kelly Nunes\, is a 53-foot mobile immersive exhibition. Guests can walk through the exhibition and sit in an antechamber where they are surrounded by projection mapping\, making them feel like they are moving through a black hole. Dax’s goal is for participants to engage their sense of curiosity and leave feeling more connected to humanity\, the environment\, and the cosmos. BHX reminds each person who experiences it about individual spirituality\, encouraging them to stop\, reset\, and breathe\, and to feel a sense of wellbeing\, awe\, and wonder.
