GTA Writers Fair Are you an independently published writer who wants to promote, share and sell your work? On April 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m Stonegate Community Health Center (CHC) will be hosting an event for local authors. We are currently looking for writers from the greater Toronto area who would like to promote and sell their work to the general public. There is no table rental cost for this event but authors must register in advance. Stonegate CHC is located at 10 Neighborhood Lane, Toronto Ontario M8Y 0C5. Royal York Road United Church is holding it’s annual SPRING CRAFT MARKET on Saturday, April 12th from 10am to 3pm. There will be over 60 local vendors of handcrafted products: candles, jewellery, clothing, preserves, stationery, art and more. A Bake Sale and Snack Bar will add to the fun. 851 Royal York Road (4 blocks south of Bloor St.) in Etobicoke. Admission is $1.00 which goes to the Christ Church St. James Food Pantry. Our fabulous Flea Market is back for 2025! Now in its 61st year, our sale will feature thousands of items priced to sell, both inside and outside the church. See the auditorium full of books, fine china, crystal, antiques and treasures, framed art, and records/DVDs; a gymnasium packed with household items and electronics; rooms devoted to women’s, men’s and children’s clothes, jewelry and accessories, games and toys; and tents and tables on the lawn filled with pictures, glassware, baskets, sports, and more. We also offer areas to have BBQ, coffee and refreshments. Free admission, rain or shine, and wheelchair accessible. Money raised supports over 20 charities.
