Annual Corn Roast

Annette Village Farmers Market is holding their Annual Corn Roast Wednesday September 14th from 3-7 at 680 Annette Street in the Runnymede Presbyterian Church Parking Lot. Lots of delicious corn available at our farmers’ stands from the amazing crop this year. We will be serving up some fresh roasted corn, dressed however you like; popped corn from Mais Popcorn and Tamales! A good time is to be expected. CASH ONLY for ready-to-eat corn and popcorn....

Arts in Wincott Park

After two successful park events in 2020 and 2021, Arts Etobicoke in partnership with Delta Family Resource Centre, is thrilled to host our third Arts in Wincott Park this summer! Arts in Wincott Park activities are FREE and will feature a community-engaged public art installation and a series of workshops exploring various disciplines, including Visual Art & Crafts, Writing, Theatre, Music, and Dance for a multicultural and multigenerational audience. New for this year, we are excited to host the community’s first ever outdoor film night! Enjoy a family friendly film under the stars with friends and neighbours. As a culmination of these events and to mark the end of summer, we’ll be hosting a community Park Party celebration featuring live music & dance performances, visual arts activities, free refreshments and more! Toronto Ukrainan Festival

There was something for everyone at this year's Toronto Ukrainian Festival to be held on September 16-18th in Bloor West Village. The 26th annual celebration is the largest North American Ukrainian Festival. It will be loaded with action-packed entertainment, music, fun activities for young and old, and lots of delicious foods and treats. The hustle-bustle will begin on the Friday evening (September 16th) and continue throughout Sunday. Bloor Street will once again be closed all weekend for foot traffic only from Runnymede all the way over to Jane St. The Festival takes pride in turning its spotlight on contemporary professional and amateur artists and performers from North America and Ukraine, and in celebration of Toronto’s diversity, invites a local performing group representing another culture to bring its talents to the main stage each year. This Wednesday the 24th of August, come and get Peachy with us at our Annual PEACH & PIE DAY at the Annette Village Farmers Market located at 680 Annette Street. Annette Village Farmers Market likes any excuse to have a good time with our vendors & patrons. Peach & Pie Day let’s us honour the height of Peach Season and have fun! There will be a pie competition from 3:30 until we run out of pie. A raffle with three prizes FREE to anyone who comes to the market. Face painting from 4-6! Peach pies & baked goods. Plus.. Cameroon-Canada Challenge Cup

Cameroon-Canada Challenge Cup tournament is a yearly tournament organized by Camer Social Club of Toronto. This year's tournament will be attended by 16 teams from Ottawa, Montreal, Kitchener-Waterloo, Quebec City and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
