Swansea Craft Fair

Please join us for the return of the Swansea Craft Fair on November 16, 2024 at the Swansea Community Recreation Centre from 9:30 am-3:30 pm. We have close to 40 vendors selling a variety of handmade goods such as jewelry, food, artwork, clothing and accessories. We have collected a number of amazing prizes and items generously donated by local businesses and will be running a raffle the day of the fair. Prizes include a week of March break camp at Swansea School of Dance, a week of Multi-sport camp at Camp Boulevard, a month of premiere membership at Orange Theory Fitness along with many other goodies from local businesses. Admission is $5 at the door, but children from Swansea Public School or under 12 are free. Don't forget some cash for the bake sale, Coffee/Hot Chocolate or the Raffle and there will be holiday craft stations and face painting for the kids! The event is hosted by the Parent Council of Swansea Jr....

Pia Bouman School: 2024 Nutcracker

Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement will be back onstage with our 39th Nutcracker production this December 6-7-8 in Toronto's West End. We have four performances over the weekend, two matinees and two in the evening. This is Toronto's most family-friendly show, with all ages welcome. Nutcracker is a celebration of the community with accessible ticket prices starting from $25. The production highlights the creative talents of the PBS dancers, and brings to life Tchaikovsky's timeless masterpiece. The Sound of Christmas At Royal York Road United Church

Local Vocals choir and friends present a concert for all ages featuring favourites from The Sound of Music, seasonal tunes and sing-alongs to ring in the holidays! Featuring Briar Boake as MC and operatic soloists Alain Coulombe, bass, Michael Colvin, tenor and Jennifer Robinson, soprano.
