SUMMARY:Fall Studio Series - Relief Printing Collage
DESCRIPTION:Relief Print Collage is a 4 week course facilitated by artist Maureen Da Silva where students will learn and refine carving techniques in relief printmaking\, and work to create up to two types of collages\, inspired by still-life objects. Students will consider two approaches to collage composition\, using blocks developed in the first session. Paper as a material will also be closely explored for the impact it has on the artmaking process\, with an emphasis on joyful composition.
