SUMMARY:Cemetery Tour: The People of Park Lawn Cemetery
DESCRIPTION:This October come explore a brand new tour at a brand new (to us) cemetery!! \nPark Lawn Cemetery is an oasis in the West End of Toronto complete with lush greenery\, meandering walking paths\, and even a herd of deer. Its grounds also contain the earthly remains of some well known – and less well known – Toronto residents whose stories helped shape our city and our country. \nThere will be two tours: Saturday October 28th at 1pm and Sunday October 29th at 1pm. Both tours are identical and will be roughly 2 hours in duration. Meet the group in front of the cemetery office\, off of Prince Edward Drive. This is a rain or shine event and remember to wear shoes appropriate for walking across uneven grass. The nearest TTC stations are Royal York and Old Mill. Some parking is available on the cemetery roads. \nThe tour is free to attend\, but as always\, tips are accepted. \nPlease do not bring your (non guide) dog to this event.
