Swansea Historical Society presents “The History of Tap Dancing”

Join us on December 6, 2023 at Swansea Town Hall for an immersive journey through tap dance history, beautifully narrated through storytelling and dance. With over 300 years of evolution, this art form has a rich and complex past that intertwines with jazz music and jazz movements.

Speakers (and dancers!) Trina Josdal & Amy Lintunen are co- directors of Vintage Taps, a vaudeville inspired tap dance company. They are dance instructors at Swansea School of Dance and active members of the Swansea community.
