Swansea Historical Society Illustrated Talk – “The Story of Windermere United C hurch — A Swansea Landmark for More Than a Century”

At the February 7, 2024, meeting of the Swansea Historical Society, SHS President Robert Roden will present an illustrated talk on the history of Windermere United Church. Founded in 1912 as the Windermere Avenue Methodist Church, the congregation formally merged last year with Runnymede United Church. We are pleased that the 1926 building at Windermere and Mayfield will continue as a hub for community-outreach activities, known as the Windermere Campus of Runnymede United Church.
